For the last four years, I have been creating NTFS RPMs for RedHat and Fedora.
With the release of FC6 (Zod), Fedora have added NTFS support into their Extras package.
There are two packages to choose from: the kernel module (kmod-ntfs) and the userspace module (ntfs-3g).
Now that NTFS support is where it belongs, it's time to take a step back.
I will continue to create NTFS RPMs for the legacy distros, such as FC4, FC5.
I would like a volunteer to take over the enterprise distros, RHEL3, RHEL4.
If you're interested, drop me (Rich) an email.
Before I go... some thankyous.
A BIG thankyou to Chris Brown (Snecklifter), who has supported FC5 and FC6 through all their test phases.
Also, thanks to all the legions of contributors over the years, who have filled in all the gaps I didn't have the time, or hardware, to fill.
Cheers,
Rich (FlatCap)
