The Logo contest announcement is found on the Linux-NTFS-Dev mailing list: Archive 1, Archive 2.
Some rules:
No big files.
Be creative.
For legal issues it is important that the logo may not contain any copyrighted material.
Not mandatory rules:
Logo may contain something project related (eg. hard drive).
Use project website colours.

What is the dead-line?
It used to be 15 January 2006, and updated 23 January. However, due to legal issues that arised near the deadline, you may submit a new logo until 30 January.
Logos are copyrighted by the respective specified authors. If someone wishes to use the logos or parts from them in a project other than Linux-NTFS, s/he should clarify the legal issues with the copyright owner.
We are very sorry to say that these logos will not be counted in the contest. We might even need to remove them from the logo contest page in the near future:-( A big thank's to the authors anyways, we appreciate your work!
