This page is outdated. Find the newest version of this page at: http://www.linux-ntfs.org/doku.php?id=downloads

This is just a selection of the latest downloads. For a complete list, see our project download page. Note that most distribution already includes the ntfsprogs package, or you could install it by using apt-get, dselect, aptitude, urpmi, yum, emerge, etc. If you are a RedHat or Fedora user and you want NTFS support, then read our RPM Page for more details.

NTFS Tools and Library

The ntfsprogs package contains userspace tools: mkntfs, ntfscat, ntfsclone, ntfscluster, ntfscp, ntfsfix, ntfsinfo, ntfslabel, ntfsls, ntfsresize, ntfsundelete, etc and a shared NTFS library. This package does neighter require nor contain the NTFS kernel driver.

LDM Tools

This package contains the kernel driver to read the LDM database. It also contains two tools. ldminfo prints information about the LDM database in several formats. ldmutil allows you to alter the contents of the LDM database.

Documentation

End-User Documentation for NTFS and LDM is available online from the Documentation Wiki, and there is also technical documentation available from the Developers Resources page. Technical documentation can also be downloaded from the above page in several formats.

Source Code

The source code is kept in CVS/git repositories. Occasionally we alse provide snapshots of the development code.
